My Wife Longs for Divorce Every Day

Chapter 41 - 41: 041, a family of three

Su Wanwan had to take time off from the driving school on Sunday because they had class.

Coach Pan Hui agreed readily, but quickly followed up with a message: “Going on a date with your boyfriend?”

Su Wanwan replied: “No.”

“Oh.”

The next day, she arrived at the airport quite early.

Unexpectedly, the flight was delayed, and she waited from morning till noon, until almost two in the afternoon when the flight from Los Angeles finally landed.

Su Wanwan quickly got up when she heard the broadcast, but something hit her from behind as she turned around.

“Hiss!”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Did I hurt you?” a gentle woman’s voice said.

Sweat was about to break out on Su Wanwan’s forehead from the pain.

She was wearing the same denim shorts she always wore, and most of her leg was exposed. She didn’t need to look to know that her ankle had a scrape. But when she saw the owner of the voice…

“I’m fine.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t notice you standing up just now. I’m so sorry.” The woman kept apologising. After finishing, she bent down to look at the injury. “It seems a bit scrapped, and I am truly sorry. I’m in a hurry, so how about giving me your card, and I’ll reimburse all the medical expenses later.”

A classically beautiful woman, soft-spoken, and her eyes filled with sincere apologies, was entirely reminiscent of the romantic female protagonist in a love movie.

Even women would not be able to resist her charm, let alone men. Hence, Su Wanwan did not feel like blaming her.

“That’s not necessary. I’m in a hurry, too.” She left immediately after speaking.

She had just taken a few steps when she heard the lady’s voice, “Jingshen!”

Su Wanwan did a double-take and indeed saw a familiar figure approaching.

In his usual white shirt and black pants, Huo Jingshen looked tall and elegant, pushing a trolley. Despite several foreigners around, he was quite eye-catching in the crowd.

Su Wanwan felt bewildered.

She had been thinking about whether to send him a message to tell him about her being at the airport today. Not sending might seem pretentious considering they were married. But sending might appear deliberate because the flight from Los Angeles was due in the morning.

But she never imagined that they would meet this way: A beautiful woman was here to pick him up, and she, his wife, coincidentally bumped into them!

Cool.

In a few short seconds, Su Wanwan had come up with countless ways to greet him in her mind.

But as he suddenly looked over here, she chickened out and squatted down quickly.

**

On the other hand, Huo Jingshen furrowed his brows slightly.

Why did he feel like the figure seemed familiar…

“Jingshen!”

Turning his gaze back, Huo Jingshen greeted the woman who was running towards them and said, “Your mom is here.”

“She’s not my mom.”

Huo Jingshen:”…”

At his feet stood a five-year-old boy with a large black backpack, wearing a red T-shirt and small jeans. His cute, stubborn little face was grimy and bruised. He looked like he had run away from home.

Xiu Xin ran over, squatted down and began to lecture: “Ziyang, you scared me so much. How could you sneak onto the plane alone? You’re only five years old, a child. It’s dangerous to go out alone, do you understand?”

Fu Ziyang looked at her calmly but didn’t say a word.

“Jingshen, I can’t thank you enough. I almost had a heart attack when Xihan told me. Fortunately, you found him.” Xiu Xin sighed and stood up. “I’ll take him back to the hotel now…”

“I want to go home with Uncle Huo.” Fu Ziyang said, surprising both adults.

Xiu Xin immediately began lecturing again, “Ziyang, you can’t do this. Your father is already angry because you stowed away on the airplane. You can’t bother Uncle Huo. Children should be sensible…”

“Uncle Huo, would I be a bother to you?” Fu Ziyang raised his little head to ask Huo Jingshen.

Huo Jingshen raised an eyebrow at the question. Before he had a chance to respond, the little boy spoke again, “Then I’ll go to the hotel alone.”

**

Hidden behind a chair, Su Wanwan peeked out and tried hard to listen to their conversation.

Not until the “family of three” left the hall did she get up and remember she had left her luggage behind.

Then her phone rang.

Seeing “Huo Jingshen” displayed on the screen, Su Wanwan pursed her lips and turned off the phone!

**

By the time she had collected her luggage, hailed a taxi, and returned to the Imperial Court, it was over seven in the evening.

It was dark outside and Su Wanwan, dragging her heavy suitcase, gazed at the brightly lit villa. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t feeling a bit unsettled.

Taking a deep breath, she walked over and pushed open the front door.

And then she locked eyes with four beady eyes staring back at her.

On the living room floor sat a large German Shepherd and an adorable little boy.

Overwhelmed by surprise, Su Wanwan stood frozen, even forgetting to avoid her worst fear: the dog.

The only thought in her mind was: Damn it! Is there no justice in the world! This old man actually brought his bastard son home! And maybe even that

woman!
