Flashy Adventurer System : Show Off to Get Stronger!

Chapter 219: Shye’s Decision

For some reason, tonight, the city was busier than usual.

Mighty adventurers donning full sets of high-tier equipment and guild staff members carrying random stuff—letters, gift boxes, and paperwork, sprinted here and there, seemingly working hard to accomplish the tasks given to them.

The reason for the unusually busy night was that the Adventurer Academy Competition had just concluded, prompting various prominent guilds to extend invitations to prospects of their choice, hoping to secure talented rookies for their guilds—hopefully, faster than any other guild.

Inside one specific guild— The Titan\'s Fist Adventurer Guild, Guild Master Jin tirelessly crushed communication talismans.

"Orlie, are the preparations complete? Send invitation letters to Colzen Academy RIGHT AWAY! Send Vurg immediately; there\'s no need to wait for the mailing companies. Tell Vurg not to spare any expense; he should use as many teleporters as necessary to ensure he arrives in Colzen City first!"

"Understood, guild master!"

*BEEP*

After making the last call he needed for the night, Guild Master Jin looked out the window with a satisfied smile on his face before bursting into hearty laughter.

"KEKEKEKE…I wonder what your ugly faces would look like upon learning of the difference in wits between you guys and me?! BAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Meanwhile, in the Orze Advanced Adventurer Zone, lots of heads turned towards Siegfried and Shye, waiting for their decision.

If both do decide to join the guild, then Soaring Raven would be the biggest winner of this year\'s rookie recruitment frenzy.

Self-aware that Shye was the star, Siegfried spoke first.

"Well, I would also love to join, however, I do want to ask what benefits do we get for joining your guild?"

Hearing Siegfried\'s question, Soaring Raven couldn\'t help but chuckle.

\'You really can\'t make this guy say yes in an instant huh?\' Soaring Raven thought before opening his mouth to speak:

"Naturally, since you guys are the guild\'s first-ever super rookies, we will hand out joining rewards appropriate for prospects of your level."

"Each new Colzen recruit would receive one [Unique]-tier skill of their choice, a piece of high-grade ruby-tier relic, again, of their choice, and lastly we shall instantly register you guys as gold-tier adventurers."

"Although I would be assigning each of you to different branches to test your true mettle, I will make sure that the branch guild masters of your branches would take good care of you, giving you priority to the best quests which would allow you to take a quick but hard path should you desire so."

"Lastly, if all seven of you join, then I shall give each of you one greater permanent blessing of your choice. What do you think?"

Upon hearing what Soaring Raven was offering their students in exchange for joining his guild, the two deans experienced a sense of relief.

They held immense gratitude towards this group of students and would be distressed to see them treated unfairly or taken advantage of.

Fortunately, Soaring Raven seemed to be very sincere in grooming their students, hence, the deans\' relief.

Naturally, the students who had never even seen the items offered by their soon-to-be guild master, had their mouths agape in utter shock and disbelief.

It seems that joining the guild was the correct decision.

Overly satisfied with the guild master\'s offer, Siegfried naturally voiced his willingness to join shortly after.

He was looking for a challenge anyway so he would never join a top guild even if they begged him, plus, the items and treatment he would receive from the guild would give him a good head start, thus, with barely any contemplation, he decided to join.

After Siegfried chose to join, all eyes turned to Shye.

All of them were eager to hear his decision.

As for Soaring Raven, for a sly fox such as him, his heart was beating a little too fast.

It was understandable though as this was the first time such a super rookie popped out of nowhere in Valenzia.

He believes that if he manages to secure Shye, then his guild entering the inter-regional guild rankings wouldn\'t remain a dream anymore.

No one except himself knew, however, Shye already decided to try joining the Raven\'s Blade Adventurer Guild even without Soaring Raven doing all this.

His reason? Simple.

He needed to disappear from the eyes of the crowd for a short while to create opportunities for himself to earn points.

If he simply joined the top guild, then it would be harder for him to earn points.

Furthermore, top guilds like these were known for their ruthless competition, inevitably leading to internal conflicts.

Shye wasn\'t a fan of killing guildmates so he did some research and coincidentally, it turned out that Raven\'s Blade was the perfect guild for him to join, not too high, but also not too low on the rankings in addition to having a strict internal conflict policy.

Thus, Soaring Raven throwing in such massive benefits was a huge win for Shye.

However, since it was clear that the guild master regarded them highly, he planned to obtain a few more benefits for not only himself but for his loved ones.

Pretending to have a difficult expression on his face, Shye opened his mouth, making everyone go silent as they waited for his words.

"Honestly, since my friends are all joining, I\'m also inclined to join. However, I don\'t want to be in a competition with my beloved little sister and my girlfriend, Shirley, in the future."

"I\'m not asking for the esteemed guild master to ensure their admission as I\'m sure they wouldn\'t like that, however, if you could guarantee to give them at least a seeded token for the guild\'s admission exam, then I would greatly appreciate the guild master\'s generosity."

"My little sister will probably be representing Colzen in the Adventurer Academy Competition two years from now so if you appreciate her talents, then you can talk it out with her in the future."

"Those are my conditions for joining. If Guild Master Soaring Raven deems them excessive, then I\'ll have to seek other means to repay the favor of saving my life."
